shoshin (初心) is a Japanese term meaning beginner’s mind. It is an attitude of openness, curiosity and humility that is free from preconceptions.
In modern medicine, rapid advancements in research and technology must be balanced with sound clinical reasoning and critical thinking, especially in the advent of artificial intelligence.
My goal is to dissect the hype surrounding new discoveries, distinguish genuine breakthroughs from the latest trends and equip myself with the skills to navigate and incorporate genuine advancements into my own practice to embrace lifelong learning. I hope to look back at this in the future as my creative outlet.
